PKE 2010
Indoor Racing
Hotel Arena

A challenging track is the mission of Mr. Tom Godfrey, founder of the Indoor Kart Racing League. He will create a track inside the 80.000 square foot arena, working in conjunction with the WKA. This IKRL sanctioned mini-enduro will bring indoor karting to a Las Vegas arena for the very first time.

Competing 3-man teams representing indoor facilities from around the country  will race a total of 180 laps in gas powered indoor karts while thousands of fans and spectators are watching from the arena seats.

This Friday evening event will be filled with all the theatrics and energy of a major boxing match with live TV coverage, and trackside announcers. Tracks from all around the country will be encouraged to fill their seating sections with their own cheering fan base.

Whether Its For Bragging Rights Or The Cash, Competitors Will Show Their Stuff To The World Live From Las Vegas

Racing is racing regardless of whether it’s indoor or out PKE2010 is the place to compete and be seen. Our indoor arena holds over 4400 spectators with perfect-view seating. Overhead are four diamond vision video screens where your fans will be able to see you up close and personal. Our 180-lap, 3-man mini-enduro will pit teams representing indoor tracks from around the country against each other for a total cash prize package of $5000.00.

For our outdoor fans, we are constructing a sprint course with lots of twists and turns as well as a couple of speedy straight sections. The track will be used by manufacturers, distributors and dealers to offer test drives and demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday.

Your fans can’t make it to Vegas? No problem, the entire event will be covered live by the team of RaceFanRadio and streaming TV so spectators around the world will be able to follow the event on streaming Internet TV. Our broadcast team will add a perspective and color commentary not found on typical US kart coverage.

Outdoor Racing
Kart Racing

Due to the lack of registered competitors we have chosen to cancel the three outdoor sprint races as there would not have been enough of a challenge. With the South Point as our additional partner in the event we plan to host the show both in 2011 and 2012 right here at the South Point and we do plan to have a full complement of outdoor racing starting next year.

For now, we will have an outdoor sprint course test track available for manufacturers, distributors and dealers to be able to work with customers and to showcase their products in a real competitive setting.

This same track will be used by both the 600 Racing Bandoleros and the CRG fleet of karts for the VW Jetta TDI Cup Driver Selection event on Sunday.
