A Regional Location With A Global Exposure

PKE2010 will reach the global community of karting through a wide variety of communications. From print and digital industry publications to extensive email lists and direct mailings, this show will reach out to the entire karting enthusiast base.

The concept of PKE2010 is not to replace another karting event but to expand the recognition of the performance karting community to cover a wider set of customers.

Show Timing
Through our extensive market research, the industry wanted more exposure during their peak selling season and coverage of the Western US. They wanted an event that would build excitement and allow real product demonstrations.

Both domestic and international manufacturers asked for dates that would not conflict with club and series racing schedules yet would be timed right to promote sales before the majority of the country’s racing season would begin. February 5-7, 2010 was chosen.

Las Vegas was selected because it is the trade show capital of the world and there is a strong bond between competitive karting and this city. The South Point was selected because of its excellent facilities and the fact that the owners are active participants in motorsports.

Choosing the “Big Game” weekend guarantees that we will have a strong consumer turnout. In our extensive market research, watching professional football was the number one sport for karting enthusiasts outside of watching racing.

Media Exposure

PKE2010 is reaching beyond the traditional core of karting enthusiasts with the inclusion of Trophy Karts and the 600 Racing Bandoleros.

These two markets reach out to the traditional stock car enthusiasts and off-road racers that are not familiar with the current state of competitive karting. This allows us to expand the marketing into traditional motorsports publications where readers have strong interests in these two competitive racing programs.

With our global affiliation within the exhibition industry, PKE2010 will take advantage of our ability to gain exposure in motorsports and karting events around the world prior to February to promote both exhibitor and attendee participation.

We are working with International carriers to provide even greater incentives to draw consumers from Europe, Asia and South America to Las Vegas.

International Motorsports Marketing has direct relationships with both Rotax and the WKA and will work with both of these organizations to reach the membership with important news and information.

Exhibitors who commit early enough, will benefit from the regular exposure to all of these markets.
