PKE2010 Exhibitor Rules & General Regulations:

No Exhibitor may assign, sublet, or apportion the whole or any part of the space allowed, nor exhibit therein, nor permit any other person or party to exhibit therein, any other goods, apparatus, etc., not manufactured or distributed by the Exhibitor in the regular course of business. If it is necessary to use the equipment of  another manufacturer whose equipment should be displayed separately, no  advertising of that equipment may be in evidence.

Space assignments. PKE2010, shall use its best efforts to assign exhibit space in one of the locations requested by Exhibitor on the registration form. Notwithstanding the above, PKE2010 reserves the right to change location assignments at any time, as it may in its sole discretion deem necessary.

Inline Display Dimensional Rules. All inline booth arrangements shall conform in all respects to the dimensional and height requirements as set in IAEE standards. Exhibitors will not erect nor maintain a back-wall higher than 8', and all side-walls over 42" in height and all solid opaque structures more than 12" wide shall be confined to within 3' of the back line of the applicant's space. Any portion of the exhibit extending above the booth equipment, or any open or unfinished sides of the exhibit must be draped, at Exhibitor's expense, so as not to appear objectionable.

Exhibitors located in island and peninsula spaces larger than 200 square feet may erect displays up to 16’ in height and may extend to the four corners of their display area. All structures that allow attendees to walk under or are greater in height than 10 feet must be approved by show management and the facility management for safety and structural integrity. Any covered space greater than 300 square feet will require special fire protection equipment and show management approval before assembly can begin.

Exhibitor agrees not to install any spot or floodlight fixture so that the light coming from it will shine in other exhibits or in the eyes of guests, or that is objectionable to other Exhibitors. Mechanical reproduction of sound or music relating to an exhibit must be kept at a sufficiently low volume so as not to project beyond the confines of the Exhibitor's booth. The rights and privileges of an Exhibitor shall not be infringed upon by another Exhibitor. PKE2010, its management firm and the event facility management reserves the right to restrict exhibits that may be objectionable or to order the removal of all or any portion of an exhibit which in the judgment of PKE2010 is detrimental to or detracts from the general order of the exhibits or the conference as a whole. This applies to all Exhibitors as well as to persons advertising or soliciting or anything of a similar nature.

The space rental includes a draped aluminum pipe background 8' in height with draped side rails 36" in height, and a standard booth sign showing firm name and booth number. Additional furniture may be rented in advance through our online order forms at an extra charge. Limited furnishings may be available at the Exhibitor Service Center. The Management will provide for sweeping and cleaning the aisles once daily, but Exhibitors must, at their own expense, keep their spaces arranged and their exhibits dusted and in good order at all times. All coverings of exhibits must be removed by opening hour of Show each day.

Floor Covering. All exhibit spaces must have an approved floor covering which is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Carpet rentals are available in advance through the online order forms. Limited floor covering potions may be available in the Exhibitor Service Center.

Selling Within Your Space. Exhibitors may sell items within their exhibit space. If you intend to deliver the product during the show, your sales will be subject to Clark County, Nevada Sales Tax of 8.10% which you must record and collect. In order to sell and deliver on the show floor you must notify PKE2010 staff a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the show date of your intent to do so and you will be issued forms required by the local government agencies to comply. If you intend to accept orders and ship direct to the client, then the issue of sales tax will be subject to the rules and regulations set forth by your local state laws.

Badges. Admission for both exhibitors and attendees will be by badge only. Identification badges are not transferable. Your individual exhibitor accounts indicate the number of included exhibitor badges as well as any VIP guest badges. Exhibit spaces must be staffed at all times when exhibits are open.

Early Move-out. No Exhibitor shall have the right prior to the closing of the Show to pack or remove articles on exhibit without the permission and approval in writing of show management

Performance Kart Racing, LLC shall not be financially obligated or otherwise committed in the event of the Show being canceled or deferred due to strikes, fires, casualties, Acts of God or causes beyond its control.

Furthermore, it is mutually agreed that the Performance Kart Racing, LLC, its agents, its officers, and/or its employees, or the Convention Site and its agents, shall not be liable to an Exhibitor for any damage to or for the loss or destruction of an exhibit or of the property of an Exhibitor, all claims for any such loss, damage or injury being expressly waived by the Exhibitor. IF INSURANCE IS DESIRED, IT MUST BE PLACED BY THE EXHIBITOR AT ITS OWN EXPENSE. No Exhibitor may allow any article to be brought into or any act done upon the premises that will void or increase the premiums on the policies of insurance held by the owner of the building, nor injure any part of the building nor permit anything to be done by employees by which the premises may in any manner be injured, marred or defaced. Violations of this rule will annul the rental agreement and the Exhibitor will forfeit to Performance Kart Racing, LLC all monies which may have been paid for rental of exhibit space, and hereby agrees to reimburse the Convention Site for the cost of repairing such damage.

If any term or provision of this agreement or the application thereof to any person or circumstances shall, to any extent be invalid or unenforceable, the  remainder of this agreement or the application of such term or provision to persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is held invalid or  unenforceable, shall not be affected thereby and each term and provision of this  agreement shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law It is hereby agreed that this writing constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and the same may not be changed, limited, enlarged upon, or  terminated, other than by written agreement between the parties, except as otherwise expressly provided for herein.

Carpetbagging. No individual, firm or organization not assigned space in the exhibit area will be permitted to solicit business within the exhibit area, nor in any public spaces controlled by PKE2010 during the course of this exposition, unless such demonstration or solicitation is expressly approved by PKE2010 as part of official event program activities. Violators will be escorted from the show floor by management immediately.

Hold Harmless Clause. The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of injury or damage to Exhibitor's displays, equipment and other property brought upon the exposition premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the exposition site and PKE2010, their agents, servants, and employees from any such losses, damages and claims.

Security. Performance Kart Racing, LLC shall provide security service throughout the closed hours of installation,  show and dismantling period, and exercise reasonable care for the protection of  the Exhibitor's materials and display. Beyond this, Performance Kart Racing, LLC, the exposition facility, or any officer or staff member will not be responsible for the safety  and property of the Exhibitor, his agents, or employees, from theft, damage by  fire, accident, or any other cause. No items may be removed from the exhibit area before the close of the exposition.

No Overnight Camping In The Secured Event Area. The hotel does not allow camping anywhere on their property. Campers, haulers and trailers with sleeping accommodations may park in the public lot out front or in the secured competitor areas in the event area but you will not be able to use these for overnight accommodations. Arrangements have been made for overnight camper parking with hookups and other campground amenities within minutes of the South Point. Please contact PKE2010 management for additional details.

Outstanding Balances. Any outstanding balances for services or rentals requested by the exhibitor must be paid in full prior to move-out. Exhibitors will be required to check in in the Exhibitor Service Center to receive an Approved Move-out Card which will be presented at the freight door prior to your transport vehicle is allowed on the floor for pickup.

Forced Floor. Any items left on the show floor or within the event space after the move-out deadline will be subject to removal and storage fees. PKE2010 and its management, the South Point Hotel and Event Center will not be held responsible for the security and safety of any items left unattended during either the move-in or out process. Security will be provided and all authorized personnel must check in at the Exhibitor Service Center for badges and credentials.

Attendee Tickets. We are offering three types of entry tickets to attendees. There are specific rules associated with each type of ticket. Please be aware of the limitations of each ticket before making any purchases. There will be no refunds once a ticket has been sold and no ticket can be exchanged for another type of ticket.

  • Standard Access Event Pass - This ticket is good for anyone over the age of 5 and allows them access to the exhibit show floor, the indoor arena (not the actual indoor kart track), the Kart Swap, the outdoor Midway, the bleacher seats for the outdoor racing and Trophy Kart Demonstrations.
  • All Access Event Pass - This ticket is good for anyone over the age of 5 and allows full access to all public areas including the indoor and outdoor tracks, pits and live action areas. This ticket requires a parent or legal guardian to sign all WKA insurance forms and liability waivers for anyone under the age of 21. If you plan to compete, demo or be anywhere near a working motor or fuel, this is your required pass.
  • Indoor Arena Mini-Enduro Pass - This pass will be sold only on Friday evening and only allows attendees access to the arena and public seating from 6:30pm on Friday, February 5, 2010 until the close of the arena that evening. This pass does not entitle the holder to enter the show on any other day nor does it allow the holder to access any live competitor areas.
  • Children 5 and Under - Children 5 years of age or under will be allowed into the same areas as the Standard Access Event Pass for free and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children 5 years of age or under will not be allowed into the competition areas, pits or fuel areas.

PKE2010 and its management staff, the South Point Hotel and Event Center have the right to refuse to sell tickets and provide access to anyone they choose.

The interpretation of these rules by Performance Kart Racing, LLC is final and controlling. Any and all matters not specifically covered by the preceding rules and regulations shall be subject solely to the decision of Performance Kart Racing, LLC. Performance Kart Racing, LLC shall have full power to interpret, amend, and enforce these rules and regulations, provided any amendments when made are brought to the notice of Exhibitors. Each exhibitor, for itself and its employees, agrees to abide by the foregoing rules and regulations and by any amendments or additions thereto in conformance with the preceding sentence. If the Exhibitor violates any rule, regulation, or requirement hereof, Performance Kart Racing, LLC may, at its option, terminate this contract and may remove Exhibitor and Exhibitor's property from the exhibit area, at Exhibitor's expense. In such event Performance Kart Racing, LLC shall retain all fees paid or required to be paid by Exhibitor and shall recover all reasonable costs incurred by Performance Kart Racing, LLC in the enforcement of these rules, regulations, and requirements.
